The greywater system utilizes used water particularly from the sink, shower and laundry. The used water is deposited in a collection tank, goes through a filtering tank where ultra violet lights are used to decontaminate the liquid, then to a holding tank. The recycled water is exclusively used to water the plants.
A healthy environment requires continuous flow of air. The Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) is one of the important components of the HCT GreenNest. It maximizes the use of waste air by purifying and turning it into fresh air thus replenishing the house with adequate oxygen.
A water heater powered by solar panels that provides hot water for the shower.
Variable Refrigerant Flow System (VRF) System
HCT GreenNest uses Variable Refrigerant Flow System (VRF), a system that controls the amount of refrigerant flowing to multiple indoor evaporators units. It enables the use of many evaporators with different capacities and configurations that are connected to a single condensing unit.
